Ipswich is the last place where you’d expect to find good yoga studios, but it just so happens that there are several wonderful studios in town.
Yoga is something we highly recommend here to take away from the stress of everyday life. Those long hot days working and the difficulties of the people you work with can really affect our mental health.
Best Yoga Studios in Ipswich
While Brisbane has some great yoga studios, there isn’t any need to drive into town. Instead, you’ll find the Ipswich yoga studios to be located almost next to each other.
We’re evaluating these studios on user experiences and feedback. Let’s begin.
1. Sacred Cow Yoga Studio
Head along to Sacred Cow Yoga for the best yoga studio in Ipswich. Well – arguably. Mindful Monkeys listed below is almost an even draw.

The class schedule/timetable with Sacred Cow includes beginners classes and hatha. Not just this but you’ll likely enjoy the workshops, retreats and special events/talks which are held often.
Address: 223 Brisbane St, Ipswich QLD
2. Mindful Monkeys / Mikeala
Is more of an Instagram-style studio that is clean and holistic. If you’re looking for a Brisbane CBD type of quality without the drive, then this studio is for you.

This studio has been running a few years now offering vinyasa, flow and hatha yoga. THe timetable caters for the early morning and evening crowd, as well as mums who have done the school drop off.
Address: 156B Brisbane St, Ipswich QLD
3. Carolyn Collet Yoga
If you’re looking for something more intimate then Carolyn Collett Yoga is the one for you. Her studio is held in her personal home with limited numbers and bookings recommended for beginners.

What we love is the attention that you’ll get as a student. You won’t feel like 1 of 40 students in a yoga class so you’ll get the support and pose corrections while also feeling welcomed if this is your first season doing yoga.
Address: Jackson St, Ipswich QLD
4. Revive Yoga & Wellness Centre
The last on our list isn’t a studio that’s necessarily in Ipswich but it’s absolutely worht the drive. You’ll have to make the trip to Springfield Central and several students who live in Ipswich do this quite often.

Revive Yoga and Wellness Centre has a lot of positive reviews with a strong reputation and high ethics. Their timetable is diverse offering many different yoga styles paired with pilates, barre, workshops, events and retreats. You might even wish to undertake yoga teacher training here!
We really love this studio as it features lots of natural lighting, clean facilities and great vibes. Some of the Brisbane CBD studios are at this same quality.
It’s time for your yoga mat
Now you need to grab your yoga mat and head out the door! But before you do, keep the following in mind:
- Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your first yoga class and let the teacher know that you’re new.
- Try all of these Ipswich yoga studios. They all offer casual passes.
- Remember not to judge yourself for your lack of flexibility. We’re all on different journeys
- Bring your own mat, towel and water bottle even if they supply yoga mats.
You can also find coupons or promotions to attend classes like these which can save you a few dollars if you’re just trialing.
In summary
Heading into a yoga studio is a great way to regain flexibility and strength in your body. You might also be interested in pairing your studio visits with online yoga platforms.
