Choosing a yoga studio
Right – now that we’ve seen some dispersed options around, it’s time to choose a studio.
Here are some tips:
- Don’t consider your 1st choice based on driving distance. There are studios well worth the extra drive, as is the case for Pause Yoga Studio. You’ve gotta visit here at least once!
- Plan to book your first class and arrive 10 minutes early. Bring a towel, water bottle and your own yoga mat. It’s often more comfortable to use your own instead of what is supplied.
- Don’t be shy! Other yogis will be more than happy to talk to you after each class.
- Leave your phone in the car. Yep – you don’t need it and don’t want the fear of interuption.
Consider also going on a yoga retreat and after a few years, upgrading towards yoga teacher training. Both will be very helpful for you to develop your skills and expertise both on and off the mat.
Lastly – don’t be intimidated. It’s just yoga! Everyone is at different points in their journey.
In summary
We hope this has helped you find some local options that you can check out. Buy yourself a casual pass for each one and check them all out!
