Port Macquarie has some wonderful yoga studios, but how do you know which ones are any good? We’ll show you the best Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin classes around.
We’ve sent the yogis in to review and assess which yoga studios are worth checking out from top to bottom. Let’s begin!
Best Yoga Studios in Port Macquarie
Situated 4 hours north from Sydney, Port Macquarie isn’t really regarded as a yoga hotspot like Byron or the Northern Rivers. Locals actually call this place ‘Port Mac’ for short as it’s just easier.
With the tourist numbers and sandy beaches, there is also an established surfing community. As a result, there are certainly a few good yoga studios in town that are worth considering.
Our recommendation is to actually check them all out as you might find one space resonates with you more than another.
We feel the following Port Macquarie yoga studios get the most praise:
1. The Yoga Shala
For a yoga studio which also offers yoga retreats, it’s hard to look past this beautiful Port Macquarie studio. In fact, we’d have to say this is the best in town especially as the Yoga Shala has been offering classes for almost a decade now!

All the usuals are here including Yin, Hatha, Ashtanga and Vinyasa. You’ll also find Pregnancy Yoga and Meditation for those that need a little extra help right now.
Address: 157 Gordon St, Port Macquarie NSW
2. Yoga One Nine
A lot of the established yogis in town head to Yoga One Nine. This is a sacred space which has been established for years, and more importantly, couldn’t be more central in the Port Macquarie CBD. Parking is quite easy for the evening classes though it can be tricky for daytime classes.

You’ll find Power Yoga for those who like Vinyasa, as well as Slow Flow, Yin and Meditation. Essentially there’s something here for everyone from strength, stretch, flexibility and mindfullness.
Address: 9/58 Horton St, Port Macquarie NSW
3. Port Yoga Relaxation and Meditation
Situated on the south-side of town by Miners Beach is the very beautiful Port Yoga studio. They run a very simple schedule of 2 classes per day. One class runs 10 to 11:30 while the other runs 6pm to 7:30pm to catch those who work during the day.

The classes themselves are quite affordable. Meditation is also offered at a huge discount of $5 on Friday evenings. This is the perfect way to finish off a stressful week.
Address: 172 Pacific Dr, Port Macquarie NSW
4. The Hollow Store Port Macquarie
The Hollow Store might be a naturopath store but it isn’t just a place to buy natural healing supplies. Nope! It’s also a well-established yoga studio for those looking for an authentic experience on their yoga mat.

You’ll find the classes here to be small and community-driven. There are also health talks and workshops given often. Have you heard of the Wim Hof Method? Then this is where you can meet others on the same journey in Port Macquarie with ice baths and wisdom.
Address: 2/22 Murray St, Port Macquarie NSW
5. Bodiline Yoga & Pilates Studio
Sometimes we want to do both yoga and pilates in the same place. If that’s you, then Bodiline has you completely covered with their intimate classes with 8 students max.

They are located almost in the centre of town but on the waters’ edge. You’ll find yoga, pilates and even a few Barre classes each week. This studio is mostly popular with women though men are welcome to join too.
Address: 2/74 Clarence St, Port Macquarie NSW
