The Chariot upright tarot card represents the need to take continous action if we are to see results and become successful. Essentially, we cannot merely “wish” for something to come true.
The Chariot Upright Tarot
We have to ultimately be determined if we are to make anything worthy of this life. While many people ‘dream’ of success, it’s our responsibility to see things through to completion.

Merely wishing for things to happen isn’t enough. The Secret did popularize the notion of hope yet many people were left waiting for nothing. This is akin to attempting to win a lottery ticket.
This is your call to action. It’s time to take a stand and make progress through the only act that can to progress. It’s your wilpower to ambitiously pursue the things you believe in.
Card meaning
The Chariot Upright is a ‘Yes’ tarot card. We’ve used the Rider Waite series for our description.

We see the brave and successful warrior wearing full armour. Interestingly, he’s also wearing a crescent moon which represents the arrival of the new dawn. The sphinxes symbolizes the complete power to achieve remarkable success in such a position.
We also see the stars above him meaning that he has connection to his celestial world and higher power. Indeed his crown chakra is flowing effortlessly in each and every moment.
A continual pursuit
All too often we do a little bit of work and yet very little results are actually achieved. When we look at successful people, there is clearly a trait: They have worked.
Now – it isn’t a matter of working hard. If it were a case of working hard, then nurses should all be rich. Unfortunately, most aren’t wealthy but do a lot more than they are given credit for. Thus, the value of ones self isn’t tied ot material wealth.
Life is one continual pursuit. We don’t achieve remarkable outcomes in mere days or weeks. Those who have built large businesses required years of continous action to see things to completion.
There are both massive opportunities today to build your own ‘dream life’ but likewise there are so many distractions too. We must find our guidance and light, through focus and continous effort.
On this tarot card we see a river beyond the chariot. This represents the constant twists and turns that come in our direction, but ultimately lead us out the other side.
Stay true
You must be bold in your pursuit. Our recommendation is to set goals a little higher than what feels comfortable. This stretches you and also helps to propel you into action and eventually leading to a result.
Indeed we must set firm boundaries. This is for our time and those who we associate with. Often it’s our families that aren’t actually conducive to our personal growth. By now means are we recommend that you disconnect from family time, but just be mindful of the energy that bring forth.
Being true to yourself also means doing things properly. Avoid cutting corners or taking the ‘easy path’ through life. This is often a direct path towards struggle, failure and needing to pick ourselves up again.
Victory is yours if you believe it is. This has its roots in personal commitment and a strong work ethic. Essentially, if you believe your dream is worthy of your pursuit, you’ll simply get so much closer to achieving it.
In summary
Action is the cornerstone of progress. We see the Chariot Upright has been in his fairshare of victories and defeats. This life indeed hasn’t been easy, but he is now presented in such an enligntened state of being.

The journey will be challenging and there’s no guarantees of sucesss…but if you remain deteremined, you’ll achieve much more than those who fail to even make a start.
Now is the time to rise on your pursuit towards success.
