The Death Reversed Tarot: What Does It Mean?

Sharing is caring!

The Death reversed is a morbid tarot card and represents the process of rebirthing and new beginnings. At the end of the darkest storm comes peace and light.

If you’ve been going through some particularly tough times, then this is for you.

The Death Reversed

We must learn to accept changes that happen in our lives. Such change is often beyond our control and while it isn’t welcome, it can also bring with it new opportunities.

The Death Reversed meaning

When we look at nature and the damage that bushfires bring to a dry landscape, there is always new growth proceeding this. It has to happen! It’s exactly how nature intended it to be.

You’re the same. You can handle this change as damaging as it initially appears. The human body, mind and soul was designed to much more than the rational and conscious mind believes that it can.

Card analysis

We’ve used the Rider-Waite series of tarot cards during this psychic reading. You can derive any meaning from any deck that you desire for The Death Reversed.

Psychic reading of The Death Reversed

When we observe this card, we can see that YES – no one is immune from this power. Things inheritly change as we progress through life. It’s very black and white as it’s clearly depicted on this tarot card.

The white horse gives a clue. It reminds us of the calm that proceeds the darkness of death. The chance to have a blank canvas and another chance to create mastery in our lives.

We also learn here that Death isn’t as bad as we initially perceive. Much of the world is afraid to die, but death really brings rebirth. The chance to come to new horizons and new opportunities.

The worst – or perhaps – the best part, is that we cannot negotiate. We have no choice. We see the King on this tarot card who avoided this for far too long, while the little girl can ignore Death for now.

But what she sees is the fear of the King. He was afraid for so long to take a personal quest which could risk his life. Instead, he had to face an ordinary life and wasn’t able to experience all the joy that he has envisioned earlier as a prince.

For the little girl, she’s vowed to take a different path. To be open to change as it comes.

Joy beyond change

Children aren’t afraid of the risks that adults have. They aren’t afraid of what tangibly is out there in the world. Death doesn’t seem to scare them and they bring about joy when changes happen.

Planning for a family holiday? They get excited! Buying a new car? They get excited! (Even though they are often far too young to drive it…)

They get excited about change. It’s a blank canvas for them – a chance to explore new possibilities and experiences. To find laughter and joy in the oddest of places.

No more resistence

Often we resist for far too long. What changes in your life have you been resisting for years? Have you been avoiding that fitness regime? Building that online spiritual business you always desired?

This takes courage. Before the courage of standing up to the challenge ahead, you must posess the courage of handling the change that must first come. The chance to have a blank canvas before you.

It’s time for no further resistance. Change your energy into receiving and positivity. Let go of that internal control that your subconscious mind places upon you during these times.

Going forward

The world needs you to come alive in this moment. This is the process of divine transformation that you are to experience. To say it another way – This is a rebirth.
