The self help industry is absolutely booming right now! Everyone has discovered why they need to reach their highest potential. To become a mastercraftsman, it’s no longer about what you can learn from higher education facilities.
One key challenge is the focus. Everyone gets excited in the early stages but quickly become distracted. They want results instantly and unfortunately, these seldom happen.
We must dedicate time to ourselves to improve our mind and tangible skills. This means leaving behind the cell phone and focusing on what needs to be done relentlessly to win.
Card meaning
The Eight of Pentacles Upright is a ‘Yes’ tarot card. We run our psychic readings using the Rider-Waite deck but you may use any that you desire for a love reading. The meanings discovered are very similar.
We see the man ever so focused on his craft. His gaze is laser targetted into completing what it is for him to do. He has distractions in the outdoors including passers-by, yet he remains committed to doing what needs to be done. In fact – he’s almost finished!
The tree beside him represents the need to build a strong foundation and grow strong and tall. In the windiest of days, the tree is likely to stay standing. His red tights means that he’s grounded entirely in his personal quest to master his mind and get the job done.
In the background we see a small town. Here you’ll find his people who need the man to perform. They need him more than he needs them. Essentially – his divine work isn’t for himself but to provide for the needs of others.
Refined focus
It’s time for you to now focus. While the world has many distractions and indeed drama distributed by the mainstream media, you need to remain committed to finishing what you started.
What you create doesn’t need to be perfect. 80% of something is better than 100% of nothing. Get yourself into alignment with true accomplishment which are truly brag-worthy. Scrolling on social media for the 7th time today isn’t a good use of time.
For you, acquiring skills may be necessary right now. Skills that can improve your mind, body and spirit, but most importantly, your financial life. After all, you want to live a life of abundance…right?
Skill acquisition is vitally important. Fortunately we’re living in the greatest time in history to be alive. There are more opportunities surrounding us than in no other time in history.
Enrol into a course. Buy some books. Find your way into a business network. Either way – your time is now to learn the skills and apply the knowledge. These tangible skills can serve you for a lifetime.
Patience AND Persistence
You’ll be working very hard on your projects for a long time. For much of that time you’ll see little results. Feelings of overwhelm and frustration will start to come in your direction and indeed this is where many people give up.
Avoid the temptation to simply quit. In his famous book called ‘The Dip‘, Seth Godin talks about when to quit and when to stick. There are times where quitting is justified but for the most part, stick to the journey.
A relentless focus and discipline can bring you back into alignment with who you truly are. When you do achieve those goals, you’ll be more confident and can be proud of what you’ve accomplished. From here, teaching is often the next step.
Patience and persistence is fundamentally needed for your journey. This isn’t easy. You won’t see results for quite some time. Keep making mild adjustments on the journey while seeing the bigger picture.
