The Emperor Reversed Tarot: What Does It Mean?

Sharing is caring!

The Emperor reversed reminds us of how stronger we need to become. By having firm foundations, we can both protect and grow consistently.

If you’ve been feeling weaked recently then this tarot card reading is for you.

The Emperor Reversed

For a while you’ve probably felt something isn’t right. There’s that part of you that wishes to feel more in control where you’re safe and secure. This “happy place” that others on the spiritual quest talk about.

The Emperor Reversed meaning

In this place, you’ll feel respected and give respect for others because you’re secure. Most importantly – you’re able to grow and prosper like never before.

In this new place of confidence, you’ll have a reinforced sphere of influence. This isn’t to be confused with assertiveness that comes off as rude or disrespectful, but rather strong leadership qualities as any Emperor is expected to have.

Card meaning

For our psychic readings we’ve chosen The Emperor reversed to be used with the Rider-Waite series. You are welcome to use any tarot card deck that you desire.

Psychic reading of The Emperor Reversed

We see him seated inside on his throne. This is a place of power, control and confidence. Beside him are rams which represent the need to charge forward while protecting your headspace.

With such a stable throne and high back, paired with a crown, he clearly has the power. Yet, he never has to prove this to anyone, because they already know it.

He’s in such a place of power because he already decided once, long before he got there. See – things are created twice. Once in the mind and later in reality, cultivated through a will of mind that grows strong.

The Law of Attraction teaches us these concepts too. With a red robe, the Emperor is also ready to take charge of any situation without reluctance. He’s already built himself the mental and physical strength to get through challenges in order to protect himself and his empire.

This sense of firmness is necessary to protect against the invaders. There is some aggression but only when it’s truly warranted and at times, he’s very thankful to have possessed it.

Identification of weakness

You need to ask yourself what you’re truly lacking in. Does your energy feel “off” most days? Do you feel sluggish to get up in the mornings when you otherwise should feel fantastic?

It’s confronting to face such personal issues face on. We can’t mask it any further. You may have to see a doctor initially to get professional help, while later using personal development to help you through.

Once we identify such weakness, we’re able to address the root cause of our issues. This restoration process can begin with such divine healing.

Personal responsibility is yours

You need to cultivate some mental and physical strength. Start slow and cultivate your grit as you may be called to stand against such an army very soon. There is no time to waste.

Where do you start? Find your favourite spiritual authors. Go into a yoga class. Heck – attend a motivational seminar that goes for 12+ hours! Don’t look for easy – look for challenging.

From challenges we can grow to new levels of personal responsibility. We need this, as does our family and the world around us. If we’re called to duty, such foundations will keep us grounded.

Going forward

When you know what needs doing, you’re better able to focus upon it. You’re more likely to take action and do it consistently until it’s done, especially if it’s written down.

Our tarot card meaning and definitions

When you do rise to the challenge and achieve such personal power, you’ll naturally feel more confident and have the stability you always craved. In addition, others will see such personal power as noble and praise such talent.

It’s time for you to do this. Such foundations can start today.
