The Hermit Reversed: What Does It Mean?

Sharing is caring!

The Hermit Reversed means that we can find the solutions of our answers if we simply consult the blueprint. What did we desire when we started?

Our journey is long and unfolding, but it all starts with a clearly defined plan. If you ever are challenged, always return to your ‘home’ position.

The Hermit Reversed

Our spirit is always the one that speaks first when something feels uncomfortable. Our conscious self then reacts. Trust that inner guidance and wisdom to get ourselves out of any bad situation.

Unfortunately for much of the world, people try to distract themselves from such discomforts. They find vices such as alcohol to numb the pain and avoid such discomfort.

Instead – we recommend you find the solution to your imbalance. That often starts with you reconnecting yourself and finding a deeper meaning to the situation.

From here – you can consult your blueprint. Are you where you envisioned? Do you need to retreat?

Card analysis

For this symbolism of The Hermit tarot card, we used the Rider Waite series. Other card packs are quite similar and as with any meaning, they are self-induced.

We can see The Hermit looking into the dark soul. He wants to see what’s causing such imbalance to his life. As we can see, he’s standing on the snow.

Meaning of The Hermit Reversed

What does that represent? Walking on what was once a solid ground. It’s now slippery at eventually, it will melt away and he’ll be back on solid ground.

But what if he were to simply start digging? Then he could get there much sooner!

Fortunately, he’s inquisivite. He’s looking for the source of the problems out there in the cold. Most people would prefer to stay warm and remain inside. Not him!

He knows it’s hard to stay where he is. It’s also hard to go outside and see what’s actually going wrong. One involves staying where you are, while the other involves facing the elements head on.

Seek the challenges

We live in a world where we are taught to “play it safe” or “take it easy” and indeed, many people in the psychic and tarot world do exactly this. They want to avoid the discomfort and hard work.

In life, we all have a plan even if it’s just mental. It’s a blueprint or a calling. Either way – it’s something that we chase, but some are chasing at such a slow pace.

It’s dark out there in the world of ambitious pursuits. Sometimes you aren’t going to have all the right answers or know exactly where you’re going. What’s most important is that you actually start.

Log off social media. Turn off the phone. Sell the TV! We’re serious. If you’re committed towards a greater life, one that will both test you and reward you – then you’ll need to seek the challenges.

Going forward

This journey won’t be easy. There will be demands placed upon you that seem outrageously difficult. When you think you can’t take any more – you’ll then be thrown more curveballs!

Through such self-work – both externally and internally – we can find new wisdom and ascend to a higher form of consciousness. A talented individual who has mastered skills and rewards through the process.

You have courage. It may be very evident or be locked away for many years. Either way – you’re going to need it right now.

In addition – seek the help of others. You might find them in your inner circle or at spiritual/yoga/psychic events near you. They are there to help you on the quest ahead.

Be open to these new quests and opportunities, while knowing that you can always retreat to your blueprint at anytime on the journey.

You’ve got this! We believe in you.
