The King of Swords Reversed: What Does It Mean?

Sharing is caring!

The King of Swords reversed represents the need to change the switch and challenge our old beliefs and thought processes.

If you’ve felt “stuck” previously, then this tarot card is for you.

The King of Swords Reversed

A fixed mindset isn’t one that can prosper. We should ambitiously pursue a growth mindset if we are to achieve results far beyond what the average folk are able to accomplish.

The King of Swords Reversed meaning

Of course, we’re not here to compare ourselves but we are here to prosper. As such, 80% of results are created in the mind. The rest is through consistent action.

In the spiritual world, we’re often taught to “take it easy” and to relax. Indeed, yoga teachers share the same within kundalini classes and spiritual events.

Are they really proclaiming us to be lazy? In one way, perhaps, but in another way – it’s a chance for us to stop the negative chatter and create a new set of empowering beliefs towards conscious creation.

Card meaning

We love the Rider-Waite tarot card series and have conducted our reading of The King of Swords reversed using this deck. You are welcome to use any common deck as the meanings and depictions are highly similar.

Psychic reading of The King of Swords Reversed

It may seem like he’s the bad guy, but this is only a perception. He’s placing you infront of your own perceptions and views upon how the world should be.

Such perceptions are typicaly limiting. He never limited himself, otherwise he wouldn’t be sitting there so powerful in his throne. He’s also not the evil type and instead wants to instill some very wordly advice relating to the psychology of our minds.

Did you see the butterflys? They represent the freedom of expression and direction, as well as evolution. See – the butterflys didn’t begin their life as butterflys, as the King didn’t begin as a King.

Such creation of both required a growth mindset. Had they stayed in a fixed mindset and an attitude of scarcity, there would have been no potential of reaching new heights.

Acquire knowledge

You need to acquire knowledge for your journey ahead. Unfortunately, with a mindset of excuses, it’s very challenging to progress. You must first flip the switch.

There is much in the world that is truly possible. Much that must still be discovered and experienced by all. Do you know the crazy spiritual entrepreneurs? They get to experience all of this.

Being set in our ways is disasterous. Think of children. They are a sponge for knowledge and consisistenly want to learn more. If you could just open your mind by 20% then you too can acquire the knowledge necessary to take consistent action.

Be mindful

Our mindset is the greatest key to unlocking our true potential. Unfortunately, it’s also our greatest hinderance and the thing that has kept you back for so long.

Such thoughts and beliefs may have been present for decades subconsciously. If you’ve ever dismissed an idea you had or that someone else had, this could be due to your mindset.

Transformations can truly begin when your’e ready to play at a new level. Where your worldview opens up to new thinking and personal power.

Going forward

We’re challenging you and so is the King of Swords reversed. The two of us are helping you lessen the resistance towards an open mind. One that sees true possibilities for your life and the future of the planet.

Tarot card reading

Instead of dismissing concepts, ideas or opportunities, it’s time to choose a new perspective. Aim for a growth mindset that opens the door towards a greater evolution in your life, while positively impacting the lives of those around you.
