The Magician Upright Tarot: What Does It Mean?

Sharing is caring!

The Magician upright tarot card represents our need to utilize the resources we currently have available to us which can inspire us to take action.

Too often we look for what we don’t have while not realizing the tangible skills, resources and time available at our disposal. The ‘extras’ can come later.

When we look at many successful people, all too commonly they started out lean. They didn’t have the privilege of rich parents or unlimited lines of revenue coming in. They instead had to work hard.

While it would have been easy for them to keep searching for the answers or to harness more resources, they instead worked with what they have since they knew they had enough.

Of course, such skills can be improved upon over time. Perhaps this isn’t your time to simply acquire more knowledge but to actually take action with what you actually have.

Card meaning

The Magician Tarot Upright is a ‘Yes’ Tarot card. We have conducted our psychic reading with the Rider Waite series as we have done with many of our cards and highly recommend this deck.

Psychic reading of The Magician Upright Tarot

We see the Magician as the #1 card. This means the start of new and fresh pastures in life. You can leave the old world behind and step into the new.

We see him standing with one arm up high which signals that he is the conduit and hero in his life. He has the divine power to turn all that is important into real and tangible outcomes.

As he wears a red cloak, this symbolizes knowledge. For you, it’s a case of realizing that you have all the knowledge already. Instead of seeking more, it’s simply time to put what you learn into action.

Laid out on the table before him are the 4 main symbols of the Rider Waite tarot cards. These are the cup, pentacle, wand and sword. These associated with the four elements being fire, earth, air and water. Before your very own table are these same tools to manifest your desires into the physical world.

Lastly, we see above his head the infinity symbol meaning that his higher self will continue forth into the next life yet for now, all the knowledge he has accumulated is ready for use. Indeed his crown chakra would be fully illuminated.

You have it all

You actually have all that you need for now. There may be a time in the future where more tools, resources, knowledge, people and time may be needed to ascend to a higher level, but for now – it’s time to start. To move yourself into true alchemny where your knowledge, tools and action leads to a true result.

We all have the opportunity before us to take serious action on our ideas. Often there is so little to lose and so much to gain, yet we believe there is some missing ingriedent. Instead of questioning this missing piece, it’s actually wiser to discover this later down the track (if it actually happens…)

By now you probably have your intention and strategy already worked out. You know what you want in life and why you want it. There is no need to be distracted by yet more information which seeks to only take your attention away from what is truly important…and that’s execution.

Going forward

It’s time to focus in and get a move on…literally! While this may be a little harsh to read in a tarot card reading, The Magician Upright doesn’t mess around. He has carried out the tasks and thus is represented as an elightened individual capable of manifesting all that he desires.

You must commit now to moving forward knowing that you have all that you need.
