The Moon Tarot Reversed: What Does It Mean?

Sharing is caring!

The Moon tarot reversed reminds us that we’re creatures of instinct and our emotional connection. Our thoughts create our world.

The Moon Tarot Reversed Meaning

It’s time to do a check-in with yourself and your emotional state. Have you been experiencing bad mood swings and have been “snappy” at others? This negatively affects the both of you.

The Moon Tarot Reversed Meaning

By neglecting our emotions, we internally suffer beyond what the soul can really handle. The external world does demand of us responsibilities and sacrifices, but we shouldn’t ignore our internal world in order to thrive.

This is a time to discover how you reallly feel about your state of being and progress through this exentensial journey. We’re only here for one chance!

Our card reading

We’ve used the popular Rider Waite series for our tarot card reading, though you may use any that you desire. The Moon reversed symbolizes our emotional check-in during changes and rythms of the world.

Psychic card reading of The Moon Reversed

Here we see the moon which beams ever so brightly in the night. The wolf howls at the moon which is a representation of our primal insticts, while the dog draws meaning towards our human and modern day instincts.

This tug between our primal self and modern self can cause some emotional challenges. We may feel vulnerable yet aggressive especialy when connecting with others. This can happen both online and offline.

The moon has such powerful energy and it’s something we need to respect. On this card are two animals which are well grounded and view the moon as their time to pause, reflect and really understand how they’re feeling in the moment.

Indeed, the animals here have done just this. They aren’t out hunting in the night. Instead, they’re unifying and going inwards. They quieten the mind and connect deeply with their emotional state.

Humans are habitual creatures

We are very deep in our instinctual understanding of the world around us. The information needed to create us is millions of years old. As such, we’ve become creatures of habit.

On one hand we have the rational mind that needs to “get up to speed” with the changes of the world. Indeed, the new age movement reminds us of this often.

On the other hand, the spiritual movement pulls us back. It reminds us to be authentic to our selves and not get caught up with overthinking and masking our true essence.

Indeed, we posses great depth. We can be all that we always want to be, as long as we routinely monitor our thoughts and emotional processes.

Fuel the soul

It’s time to stop neglecting that deeper part of you. Every moment this cycle is giving you a chance to return back to your roots so you can manage your feelings and emerge into a greater version of you.

Indeed, your higher self is calling. It knows that you’re powerful and worthy of so much more. Go in deep and be prepared for the magic to unfold.

That starts with your intuition. You know something needs to change. By using our intuition, we transcend the rational thinking mind and can quieten the voice of such logic.

Going forward

Let’s stop and go deep. We need to build our lives on a strong emotional connection to ourselves. Indeed, our world is created by our thoughts and actions.

Too often people are caught up in the things they need to do. You may have been thrown many responsibilities lately which sacrifices your time, money, energy and sleep.

If only for a short time you can stop and tune in, you’ll be able to recalibrate and find that inner peace you truly crave.
