Life for many of us is a case of ups and downs. Sometimes it’s really deep downs where we struggle to comprehend how we got here, and what we should do. If you have hit the deepest of lows, then professional help and guidance is certainly recommended.

The Nine of Swords Upright meaning

This heavy weight takes its toil on the heart, mind, body and soul, and let’s not forget the physical challenges too. It can certainly be overbearing which causes us to lose sleep and even lose though we care about quite quickly.

Yet…there is light at the end of the tunnel. This tarot card can be interpreted differently and give two perspectives. One is of the enduring darkness and one is of the new dawn which is arising.

Card Reading

The Nine of Swords Upright is a ‘No’ Tarot card. Our tarot card meaning is based upon reading the Rider Waite decks.

Psychic reading of The Nine of Swords Upright

Here we see a woman who sits up in her bed. With her head in her hands, we know something is definitely wrong. She’s risen up quite quickly and is likely due to a bad dream she just had.

This leaves her with feelings of anxiety and sadness. Being scared, alone and disturbed isn’t a productive place to be. On the wall behind her lay the 9 swords which indicate the worrysome thoughts which encapsulate her mind.

She uses the quilt as protection, and in the material world, we see the rise of anxiety blankets. With her blanket, the roses represent the passing of a soul into the non-physical world, but it also gives her hope that changes will soon arise.

The carving we see at the base of her bed features a carving of one individual taking triumph over another. This conflict is likely to add to her existing anxiety surrounding the situation.

What does this mean for you? Your environment may not be conducive to your personal growth.

The heavy thoughts

Such thoughts lead to almost non-existent progress. They weigh you down and cause you to panic. You’ll be left worrying about situations which are often beyond your control.

These can become self-fulfilling. You think of negative thoughts and then more negative thoughts come into your life. It literally becomes an obsession that feeds on itself, much like the mainstream news.

You’re certainly harming yourself presently while preventing future growth. As we mentioned earlier, you really have two perspectives here. You can see the damage being caused and do nothing, or see the damage and take action today.

Obviously, the later would be the ideal option. It’s a chance for you to reach out today for professional assistance. You can’t do this alone. While tarot cards and healing arts are helpful, drawing upon those who have helped others like you in the past can be very beneficial.

This downward spiral needs to be halted. To break this cycle, it’s going to take commitment on your part and bringing yourself into a new environment. One that speaks of personal growth and enhancement. A great starting point is replacing your own bed and find others who share your prospects of personal growth.

Going forward

Not sleeping well absolutely affects out daily lives. We will struggle to get through our workload and not live up to our responsibilities. If we have young children in our lives, then this magnifies such pain.

It’s now time to find more harmony in your life. To start, break the cycle that’s causing such despair by finding the route cause. You may choose to use professional help or healing arts, or ideally, a combination of both.

What is keeping you up at night? This is the answer to your daily struggles.
