The Seven of Wands Upright
Our lives are tough. Compared to animals though, we have it easy. We aren’t hunted and can choose to find a safe haven where our food is brought to us through online ordering.

We are indeed living in the best time in human history. So many opportunities are found around us. The problem is…we still need to stand up. There are times where life throws us a curveball.
You might be in a place of exhaustion. You’re just not sure if you can take so much today, tomorrow or let alone any day. This tarot card is a calling for you to rise to the new challenges ahead.
Card meaning
The Seven of Wands Upright is a ‘Yes’ Tarot card. We conduct our psychic readings primarily using the Rider-Waite series as these are the Gold Standard.

We see a man here who has had to stand ready in the battlefield with no prewarning. He was caught offguard and he needs to bring every ounce of energy and stamina to the table.
Why? He needs to defend his space in a very active moment. There is no planning or strategy. This is a place he has already spent years building up. He believes that what he is doing is good work and isn’t going to let it fall into other hands.
While this isn’t his first time, he isn’t battle-hardened. In fact, we see normal clothes and different shoes being worn. Being caught off guard is never a fun experience, but he’s going to bring his entire power to the table if he is to be successful.
Overwhelm and exhaustion is inherently something that he will experience here. There are times that giving up will be the easy way home, but he isn’t taking this route. He knows what he has built and is there to protect himself and those he cares about.
Your belief
Everything really starts in your belief systems. If you believe in what you are holding is valuable for the world, it’s difficult for others to attack you. Not just this – but others will join in the fight.
On this tarot card, the man is solo. He hasn’t had time to prepare. Others can’t come to his aid just yet as much as they might see the attackers coming. It’s a tense environment to be surrounded in.
Your belief in yourself and what you stand for will help you in the face of such adversity. The bigger you grow, the more people out there who will make it their very mission to take you down hard.
Backing yourself is going to take courage and your solid belief systems. You must be firm and stand strong in the face of conflict. This isn’t an easy challenge to navigate but with a sense of optimism, you can navigate this challenging ordeal.
Personal power
It’s not just our belief systems but just as important is our personal power. If we are to rise to the challenge and improve our lives, we need to be backed with skills and knowledge.
The man here has skills. He knows how to fight. Over the years there has been more than one battle that he has experienced. Such scars have helped him rise higher and stronger and thus, while he was caught off guard for this battle, his past experiences find their way into the present.
He has therefore worked on his personal power. The strength and valor found in his determination empowers him to be persistence. This fight isn’t over until he has exhausted absolutely everything in his body, mind and soul.
Your time to rise
Your time to rise up is TODAY. There is no ‘playing it safe’ in the world. If you’re not building yourself a solid position in the new world, then you’ll be left behind in the old world. Trust us – there isn’t much there. We’re ascending very quickly into this new world which requires a defensive position.

Go deep into your soul and discover what you truly believe in. This is your project going forward. What is it that you’re prepared to take a stand for? Will you defend your position at all costs?
During unexpected confrontation, it’s YOU that needs to rise. Stand strong!
