The Sun Tarot Upright: What Does It Mean?

Sharing is caring!

The Sun upright tarot card represents the need to dance in the light! It’s really time to bring some fun, warmth and positivity into our daily lives.

We’re not here to just work constantly. Take this time to rediscover the things that make you light up in the morning.

The Sun Tarot Upright Meaning

Have you felt a little under the weather lately? This is your soul demanding that you rise up and do the things which ignite your inner spark. You can’t simply continue down this path without some self-nourishment.

The Sun Tarot Upright Meaning

Make no mistake – we do need to make progress in life. Some responsibilities are necessary to help us accomplish the things that we desire, yet we cannot get too consumed in all of this.

An athlete takes time off training. Pilots can’t work excessive hours. You may be doing way too much whereby you can’t enjoy the more finer moments of your life.

Card Reading

The Sun is a ‘Yes’ Tarot card and we’ve done this reading, much as we’ve done many of our psychic readings, using the Rider Waite tarot series.

Tarot Card Reading The Sun Upright

We see so much vibrancy on this tarot card! Life is unfolding and it’s truly exciting. The naked and young child is on the very well-mannered white horse. This represents the purity of the soul and being connected deeply to ourselves.

There is both innocence and intention here. The intention is to squeeze as much joy out of life as possible. The white horse is there to encourage this as a peacemaker while providing strength.

Certainly this is one of the most positive tarot cards, and in a love reading it represents the optimism and wamrth found within intimate relationships. Essentially – that we must carve out time to enjoy those who we love and adore.

Much of this card speaks to our holistic self. The one that wants things to be in balance, and with fun and positivity at the forefront. Many psychic readers, much like us, get immense joy out of choosing this card.

Shining brightly

The Sun Upright is the card for positivety, enlightenment and fun. You’ll find strength to enjoy the more finer moments in life no matter where you are or whom you’re with.

Once you start shining brightly, you give permission for others to shine too. We’re reminded of this quote:

We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

Marianne Williamson

If you have been through some challenging times recently, then this tarot card has definitely been the answer for you. It’s a chance to reconnect with your child-like state of being and the essence of your soul.

Becoming optimistic for the future through finding joy in such moments is only going to bring you closer to the vortex of conscious creation. A place where you can bring more wonderful experiences into your life, but first you’ll have to get yourself permission.

It’s time to give yourself permission. Once you do, you’ll be bursting at the seems with happiness and enthusiasm. This becomes infectious, and as Marianne Williamson says, you’ll give permission for others to do the same.

Of all the chakras to focus on right now, it has to be your Solar Plexus. You’re being called upon to express the true essence of yourself, and the best time to start is right now.

Going forward

We live in a wonderful world. The news wants us to believe otherwise, but here at Yocean Yogi, we do believe it’s ultimately the best time to be alive!

There is so much to do and experience. It takes so much energy to live in shelter, fear, anxiety or ego. Drop those shoulders and relax, because it’s time to walk with sheer confidence.

It’s time to unfold and live in full expression of your souls’ desire.
