Card meaning
The Three of Wards Reversed is a Yes card. We’ve used the Rider-Waite tarot cards to analyze this deck though you may use any that you desire.

We see the man on the card having a long thought about his past, present and future. We also see what he’s dressed with, showing the success he’s had the new heights that he’s accomplished.
Such inspiration found inside helps him reminiscent about old times and new beginnings. He’s thinking about the power of a blank canvas and a fresh start in life. His life, because he’s in the driver’s seat.
This tarot card is asking individuals to stop, think and analyze what they truly want. This means finding a blank piece of paper and a pencil. Draw, sketch or write…just let the mind wander and seek what our soul has been calling us to do for so long.
The man’s heart is beaming with joy and courage. He’s already accomplished quite a lot, but now he’s seeking more. He has desired to discover horizons well beyond his homeland, because he becme crystal clear about what he wants.
These 3 sticks represent the past, present and future. He’s holding 1 which is the present, while staying between the other 2 sticks. 1 is the past and 1 is the future. Essentially – he’s exactly where he is meant to be.
A clean slate
Any self-help author will tell you the necessity to stop, pause and reflect. There is healing and progressive power behind having a clean slate. After all, it gets rid of the clutter where you can focus on the pathway ahead.
If you’re not activity contributing to the higher vision of yourself, then it’s time to stop. Literally – stop! You have been too busy in the “doing” while not knowing exactly what you desire. Ask any lottery winner and they wouldn’t even know what to do with their winnings.
Today the world is an open field. The past restrictions aren’t here anymore. We have before us many opportunities to build an online business or pursue our own passions online. All the information is already out there, if we only were to know where to look.
This new clean slate allows you to get out the paints. Start painting that canvas with what you desire. Some would call this a vision board while others choose to write down in a goal journal, right beside their gratitude journal. Either way – find the clarity today to find what you truly desire.
You’re the driver
Knowing what you actually desire isn’t always that easy. Sometimes it’s buried deep into our subconcious minds due to thoughts of scarcity, negativity of judgement. But trust us…it’s there!
You’re the driver of your own personal quest. Once you know what you want and have painted the canvas, then it’s time to take action. This is a daily habit of action and doing the things that matter.
This means no more scrolling up and down on social media posts. Instead, acquire skills and put into action what you’ve learned. To do the work with no result is in itself an achievement. So many people learn new skills but become distracted by more information.
Stick to the course. You’ve chosen this! If you want to manifest the magic, stay focused. Accept that it sucks at the beginning, but everyday it gets easier.
Wrapping up
If you know what you want, then the universe has your back. It will help you manifest all that you desire if you’ll take the action consistently. This journey isn’t easy, but once you reach new heights – you’ll inherently desire more.

Plan for the future, but don’t neglect the present. This activity of conscious creation is in the present. The man depicted on this tarot card is in the present, while holding the wand for the future. The future is in his hands.

Indeed, the future is in your hands too, right here, in the present. You’ve got this!
