The Tower reversed represents the removal of things that aren’t serving us in this physical experience. We’re clearing the way for new beginnings.
If things have felt uncertain for a while, then this is your signal that change is occuring.
The Tower Reversed meaning
Life can be full of turmoil or it can be the greatest experience that a soul can enjoy. Everyone feels a sense of both, but more commonly the turmoil in their lives.

This is fed by societal norms and the media. They serve to hold you down and feed your soul which detracts you from the full potential of the human spirit.
It’s time to make space. The walls will come crashing down and what’s left remaining will be the things that nurture and grow you. Don’t resist what is about to happen!
Card analysis
With our tarot readings, we prefer to use the Rider Waite series as is the case for The Tower Reversed. You’ll be able to derive any meaning that you desire.

This is certainly a disasterous card on the surface. It appears to be filled with darkness and fear, but in reality – it’s simply the moving on of the things that aren’t serving us.
They are falling away down the chasm. It’s a long fall but it’s where they ought to be!
We can deny that this process needs to take place, or we can choose to dance. To celebrate this departure of those things which aren’t serving us and the rebirth of life.
In life, so many people choose to hang on. They simply can’t realise this baggage. They aren’t ready to manifest the potential of their true self worth.
The best part is that often they don’t have a choice. Eventually, they will be released of their burdens by force and later realized why they held on for so long.
New beginings unfolding
You’ll soon be experiencing new beginings, but first there will be some tough times. See – that destructive and toxic energy wants to hold on. It wants to grip the very essence of yourself.
You’ve held on this for so long too. A sense of loyalty has been created between you and the things that don’t serve you. It wants to hang on, and will only stay there if you allow it.
It’s best to establish what you really desire. Do you really want this new begining? Either way – it’s going to happen. If you decide you want it now, then it’s time to let go of the past.
A fresh change
The calm after the storm is a new day. A chance to stretch and open those arms far and side.
Children have this process mastered very well. In fact, they often run to their parents room with much funfare and excitement each morning, only the parents don’t quite share this enthusiasm.
When you have released the baggage that has held you back, you too can experience such joy. You’ll wonder why you held on for all these years when you always held the power of choice.
The choice to simply let go and chase a fresh change. To find new opportunities and ascend to a higher level of consciousness. That time is now.
Going forward
We’re ready to be on the journey with you as is the universe. You’ll be granted the space and privacy to get through these times to heal and reflect of what has happened, and what great things are to come.

The lightning as depicted on this card can shock us, but in this instance, it’s for the good. It wakes us up to the reality. And that reality is that you’ve been a prisoner for far too long.
It’s time for you to open your own door.
