The Two of Pentacles reversed means that we need to better analyze the finer details so we can avoid the unexpected consequences before they happen.
If you’ve been experiencing some challenges that seemingly have come out of nowhere, then it’s time to take note.
The Two of Pentacles Reversed
In life, things don’t always go according to plan. We’re sometimes feeling like we’re being tossed around and without the control we need to remain stable and grounded in our moments of physical existence.

Some people however appear to flow through such challenges with ease. It’s almost like they were built to deal with such adversity and become a shining example for us to power through!
How? They became malleable. This is a fancy name to cause the most inflexible objects to bend.
Card analysis
All tarot readings are different and we’re using the standard Rider-Waite series. Based on our experiences, they are the Gold Standard with clearly depicted photos, though you may choose any based on what you desire.

We can see here a juggler pictured on the Two of Pentacles reversed. He’s entertaining himself with some gold coins which are floating.
Not only is he flexible to the challenges that come, but so are the coins. They’re able to bend in reality.
The juggler has learned that the challenges he faces in his personal journey is nothing more than a lesson. Sure! He can say “woe is me” or choose to rise up.
Many would chose the former, but he’s chosen the later. He’s juggling some life events that are totally unexpected. He’s dancing with such challenges instead of running away.
You’re being tested
Life is funny. It has this uncanny way of seeing how much we can handle, then when we least expect it – throwing us some more! On the surface, this seems unfair, but we have a choice.
Just like the Juggler, we can learn to dance or learn to run away and hide. Sometimes it’s merely too late to run and we will need to stand and tackle this new-found responsibility.
Maybe it’s something in your family. Maybe a co-worker is giving you a tough time. These challenges are often beyond our personal control, but we humans have the right to choose our emotions.
Some people get angry at being tested in life. Others laugh! Both types of people might have the same upbringing and personal quest, but their meanings found in the moment are simply different.
Just laugh
You can choose laughter or you can choose another response. We believe that laughter is better. In moments of adversity, it’s really joy that gets us through. When we can sit down and reflect on how difficult this journey has been.
From such a place, we can better analyze what got us stuck here in the first place. Was it something within our control? Can we adjust our plans to suit so the damage isn’t so severe?
A closer analysis of the situation will really help bring us back into managing the juggling. In essence, we need to strive towards being more adaptable to things that come.
Such adaptibility starts with laughter. Did you know that there are laughter yoga classes to help you humourously get through such issues? This might be all that you need right now.
Going forward
Those who practice yoga are flexible. Those who are challenged with the adversity of life also need to be flexible, but in a different way of course.

Such flexibility is where you’ll be able to bend through such events. Instead of fighting, you’re able to reflect and deflect without much loss or challenge.
From here, you’ll be back on track for another round.
