The Two of Pentacles Upright: What Does It Mean?

Sharing is caring!

The Two of Pentacles upright means that we must learn to dance and juggle with the responsibilities that life throws at us. Indeed it’s challenge, but we’re made for this!

The Two of Pentacles Upright

During our childhood days we come to believe that life is easy. That we can achieve anything that we desire. Indeed we can! It’s just going to take some genuine effort and unpredictability.

The Two of Pentacles Upright meaning

Curveballs will inheritly come our way. It’s those who are stuck in old paragigms which are most likely to suffer such consequences. Compare this to those who are flexible and can handle such uncertainty, and you’ll soon see the qualities of the rising stars.

All those who have conquered new heights have done so while juggling responsibilites. Whether that be children, their gym routine, their meals and careers…they have found a way to handle the chaos.

Card reading

The Two of Pentacles upright is a ‘Yes’ card. We have done our psychic reading using the Rider-Waite series though you may use any that you desire.

Psychic reading of The Two of Pentacles Upright

We see a juggler with 2 pentacles; one on either side of his body held by his hands. He’s entertaining himself. In his deep thinking, there are times he remembers when things were challenging. It was rough. He didn’t know a way out of the mess.

Today he’s able to juggle. This represents that he has found a way to handle the ebbs and flows through life. Indeed there is water in the background representing the wave-like motion of our progression. Some days are up and some days are down.

Adaption to change

Those who cannot adapt unfortunately meet an unfortunate fate. Let’s look at these current times. There is a massive disruption happening in the world, from the old to the new. Technologies have taken over our lives.

We now have smart phones which can recognize our face. Cars that can drive themselves and devices in our homes that read our fingerprints. Adapting to such technology isn’t something that those in the yoga and spiritual world are fond of…but it must inheritly happen.

Such reluctance can be avoided for a while, but we must adapt with knowledge. There is plenty of information to help those acquire more skills to adapt with the rapid changes occuring in this world.

As such, we now have new opportunities never seen before. There are some 100+ job roles that you can now do from home. Go back 20 years and the predominant jobs in the market are merely offline. Today you can even do online yoga classes!

Case in point: We must be adaptive to change and being loaded up with responsibilites. This flexibility will help us through these challenging times.

Find your ease

Similar to finding your bliss, you should also strive to find your ease. Discover where you can find your ‘happy place’ where things are just easier to accomplish. Perhaps for you, the perfect day is when you can start with a 1-hour yoga class or meditation. Maybe it’s a walk along the beach.

For many, it’s actually a midday nap. A chance to rest and recover, knowing that round 2 will soon commence. For many new moms, this is exactly what they need in the heat of the moment.

We will find lessons in the complexity of handling multiple tasks. The best way to manage such complexity is to find your ease and be nimble.

Going forward

Harmony and balance require some degree of heaviness. You must know heaviness and challenge so you’ll understand what harmony and balance actually feels like.

Tarot card reading

Going into the vortex and experiencing such joy, laughter and strength is a noble quest and one that we encourage. This starts with finding yourself in a flow-like state of being so you can handle the more difficult moments.

Dance with life. We only have one.
