We are often facing some challenging decisions. This causes us stress, anxiety and confusion. “Why am I being thrown all of this?” we ask since clarity is overrun with fogginess.
Such experiences aren’t what everyone faces. There are those who hide and scamper around without such responsibilities that you handle. When you’re in the limelight as you are, inheritely you’ve got more challenges.
Such challenges can be opportunities. The opportunity to grow and proper while learning from such decisions. Trust us – you’ll be better for it! You just need to get through this hurdle first.
Card meaning
The Two of Swords Upright is a ‘No’ tarot card. In a love reading this means the avoidance of going deep to expose the truth within our relationships. We spend too much time on the surface.
We see the blindfolded woman with 2 swords in the upright position. She’s also blindfolded which represents our lack of clarity in such moments. With her arms opposing in alternate directions it’s apparent that there are two sides for which she can strike.
With water and rocky islands situated in the background, we know this symbolizes the ebbs and flows of life while always finding solid ground. To find such ground, you may have to navigate a path that simply isn’t stable.
What gets us through is often the power of the moon. This fuels our intuitive state of being while providing light in the darkest of nights. For her, she just needs to rely now for her intuition as for the answers to her decisions are so very close.
Tough decisions
Things really feel like a compromise when we need to make tough decisions. If we do one thing, then another suffers. Upon removing the blindfold we’re able to see things for what they truly are.
Perhaps then such challenging situations and tough decisions are based on self-inflicting restrictions? We’re intentionally covering ourselves out of fear or uncertainty. Are we up to the job to make the right decision for our future?
Only hindsight is a beautiful thing. Things are hard in the moment since we’ve finished our schooling days where the teacher always had the answer in their special folder. Now we’re stuck in such a stagnant state which brings anxiety to the table.
During these times of tough decisions, you simply need to breathe! Let go for a moment. Relax and allow the mind and ego to relax. There is always another time to arrive back at the decision table.
Going forward
Life has this funny way of throwing us curveballs when we least expect them. We hope that there are multiple options on the table to help us through towards greener pastures, but this isn’t always the case.
You may sometimes just have to make that call and hope for the best. It isn’t easy. You don’t know if this will actually work out. In fact, famous author Seth Godin is famou for saying ‘This might not work’, and yet…he does it anyway!
Life is certainly about balance. Such tough decisions bring the soul away from balance and into disharmony. As we gain more exposure we’re able to make better decisions out of complete transparency which ultimately leads us down better pathways.
As Tony Robbins would say: It’s in our moments of decision that our destiny is shaped.
